Alex Anderson is a multi-disciplined photographer and videographer based in Bournemouth, UK. Currently working in the advertising industry in London, UK.
Alex studied Multimedia in Liverpool where he made short films and music videos for local bands. He moved to London in 2006 to study Digital Media Arts at London South Bank University where he specialised in Filmmaking and Photography.
After qualifying, Alex went on to have a varied digital media career, including 7 years in the film and TV industry.
In 2010 he joined Sony Pictures as a Digital Sales and Operations Executive where he managed their digital operations in Europe and Asia.
In 2012 he moved to iTunes as their marketing and editorial producer where he was editor of the UK Film and TV stores, helping them win Digital Retailer of the year 2 years in a row at the prestigious BVA awards.
In 2014 he became the Senior Digital Account manager at Arrow films, launching all their digital accounts in the UK helping with film and TV show acquisitions, and helping launch Arrow Films in the US market. Arrow is now one of the most successful TV distributors in the UK.
In 2016 he and his wife Jade took a year out to travel the world. Visiting South East Asia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.
He has now made the leap into the world of advertising, joining Wavemaker, one of the biggest advertising agencies in the UK in October 2017.
